Research: Within its research and publication programs the Institute analyzes various aspects of Slovakia 's transformation: 1. Democratic institutions and processes: Basic trends in domestic politics; Civic participation and the nonprofit sector; Slovakia in the Euro-Atlantic space; Sharing and transferring of reform experiences onto countries in democratic transition. 2. Social problems and public policy: Public opinion, value orientations and political behavior; Equal opportunities and gender issues; Social inclusion; Information society. Services: The Institute publishes a lot of reports, book and studies (series) on the research topics.
